What is thunar?

Thunar is a modern file manager for the Xfce Desktop  Environment. It
has been designed from the ground up to be fast and easy-to-use. Its
user interface is clean and intuitive, and does not include any
confusing or useless options. Thunar is fast and responsive with a good
start up time and directory load time. Thunar is accessible using
Assistive Technologies and is fully standards compliant.

This release fixes two severe bugs introduced in 1.6.6 that caused
crashes (bug #11450 and #11008). Apart from that, it has quite a number
of other user-visible fixes:

* Improve drag & drop and selecting in the details view
* Manual reload now reloads all file and folder information
* Most reload bugs should be gone now (except bug #9245)
* Keep the correct files selected on view and row changes (e.g.
renaming, sorting)
* New tabs and windows inhert the history of the origin view
* History is preserved across view changes
* Fix redraw issues in details view
* Correct drag & drop behaviour when moving files
