[Thunar-dev] File search facility in Xfce?

Under Gentoo I'm not sure these options are that crash hot.  Catfish crashes under Thunar with the following error:
catfish.py:689: PangoWarning: shape engine failure, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Bitstream Vera Sans 0'
/usr/non-portage/bin/catfish: line 14:  6011 Segmentation fault      python $APPNAME.pyc "$@"

To my mind this leaves me with emelfm2.net, which is down at the moment.
