I'm fine with ctrl-n. It opens a second window and most of the time I
ctrl-x, alt-tab, ctrl-v instead of drag'n'dropping. Since my trackball
is wireless this is low cost for the batteries :p

Just an enlightenment: what about a specific view for samba?
