libdbus-1-dev and libdbus-glib-1-dev are required for the D-BUS support
and for HAL support. HAL support also required libhal-dev and
libhal-storage-dev. libgamin-dev is required for Gamin file system
monitoring.

Of course these 5 packages are only required for building Thunar, not
for running it.
