[Thunar-dev] [SPAMKLASSAT av SU] Permission denied error while creating custom command

Hi,

apologies if this isn't the correct place to ask this question, but 
can't find a solution on the web! this may even be a bug!

I get a "permission denied" error whenever I try to create a custom 
command in thunar as a normal user (root works fine)

I'm running xfce 4.4 RC2 and thunar 0.5.1. Initially I thought this must 
be a permissions error, but I have full r/w access in ~/.config/Thunar

can't figure it out!!

also, is it possible to edit the menus you get for certain file types 
when you right click on them? Aren't they stored as XML somewhere?

any help appreciated
