As said several times before (and I'm going to repeat it again): IF we
use a VFS layer, we'll use the standard VFS layer, which will be used by
other desktop apps, as that's actually the only way to go. Else you'll
see all kinds of trouble (a simple example would be the mapping of
trash-ids in different implementations, and so on). Current it looks
like D-VFS will be the system of choice, but I could also imagine a
standardized KIO system (while I don't see any future for Gnome-VFS).
