Dunno. Xffm has that already. People who prefer tree navigation in the 
main view will most probably prefer Xffm anyways.

I'm all for this. I don't see a real need for a location bar as text. 
Using a location-dialog will be as fast as using the location bar text 
entry:

  1) Hit Ctrl+L to open the dialog/focus the location text entry
  2) Type the URI
  3) Hit Enter

But I'm pretty sure somebody will come up with a (pseudo) argumentation 
_for_ the location text entry. ;-)

So, since the architecture is highly modular, we'll most probably leave 
it as an option and leave it to the user to decide.
