The blue being too intense can be quickly adjusted. It will probably
be darker in the final version, since it needs to look like a "sky" if
it is to fit the design. I generally place my menus on the right, as
this (in theory) decreases time between the menu and the scrollbar.
This makes navigation quicker and mouse-movement less. Plus it's more
logical to put the content at the left in the reading order.

Ah. Perhaps badly phrased. I meant to say that it's meant to replace
Xffm as the *main* file manager for Xfce, which I think is the plan.
At any rate, I'll continue working tomorrow, probably starting by
removing unnecessary padding and the like. I won't start making images
until we're sure we want this design, so I'll make some more mockups
later. Hopefully thunar-dev will be able to pick a suitable candidate.
