Ok, so I'd you say, you and Raphael (and whoever wants to join as well) 
should agree on a forum software that fits your needs and afterwards ask 
Auke or me (if it does not require superuser rights to set it up) to 
install it on espresso and make it available under thunar.xfce.org.
