[Thunar-dev] next step in thunar development

Hi Benedikt,

Ok, you're back, now let's get this project going again. You say the goals for
thunar are clear, but they are extremely high-level goals and they require
interpretation to become useful guidelines. People would like to hear your
interpretation.

You speak of good development practices, but don't explain what you mean by
that. You make it very clear that GUI and language discussions are not
productive, you also seem to feel that you are not ready to start coding yet.

The main question for us now is this: What are the kind of contributions from 
other people that would be useful to you? 

Brian proposed to create some objects with interfaces that could later
be filled in by other people. Would that be a good way forward? Or do
you prefer to design interfaces in some other way (diagrams, something
else...)?

Please help us understand the steps that need to be taken to develop the
program the way you prefer.
