Well sorry for your frustrations, but that's all I have to offer. The
real goal of Xfce for me? the same as those I had when I started the
project in 1996, build a desktop I like, have fun working of stuff I
like after spending my all day at work working on things I don't like,
share things with other fellow developers, etc. That's not very sexy, I
agree...

Maybe the problem comes from your vision regarding Xfce: Xfce is not a
commercial product, world domination is not one of the goals of Xfce. I
have nothing to offer for all the spare time you've spent on Xfce.
So please let me try to rephrase: If you have fun working on Thunar and
want to contribute that to Xfce, that's great, I'm very happy. If you
loose interest in all this, have better things to do, that's also fine
with me, just let me know. I won't tell you you're wrong, it's your
choice.

That's perfectly ok, of course, I don't mean to speak in place of Brian,
but I think his point was rather that you left without notice...
