You can takeover maintenance for those, i only did interim
maintenance, merging OpenBSD-specific patches i had in my tree and
fixing a bunch of bugs for a pair of releases. I'll make sure it still
works on !linux, as for the monitor plugin merge :)

Please don't ditch it in favor the upower/etc, i'm using it and it
works on platforms where HAL/upower doesn't exist. And i have patches
for it i'd like to merge at some point.

Iirc, colin leroy did a good work overhauling it recently (~1yr ago).
Maybe he still wants to maintain it.
