[Goodies-dev] xfce4-power-manager turning off monitor on lid close

I've started a ticket: Bug 5886 
<http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5886>.

I think the problem is related to the xfce power manager because the 
screen never used to turn off by itself upon lid close and it only 
started happening after the power manager was upgraded to a newer version.

Also if I close the power manager the screen doesn't shut off when the 
lid is closed.
