Summary: wrongly encode text from libxklavier to UTF-8
           Product: Xfce Panel Plugins
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: xkb
        AssignedTo: goodies-dev at xfce.org
        ReportedBy: corsac at debian.org

Hi,

as reported on goodies-dev ML, libxklavier now returns strings in UTF-8 instead
of user's locales, so no need to re-encode them, and it'll break the text in
iso-based locales.

Attached patch fix the problem (same patch as gnome-control-center from which
the function is taken).

Cheers,

Yves-Alexis
