Thank you! After installing shared-mime-info, it works perfectly.
Ristretto is going to replace gqview and become my favourite
picture viewer ;-).
Anyway, IMO there should also be an error message if the image or
directory could not be opened because thunar_vfs_mime_info_get_media
returned NULL.
