Would it be possible to consider its adoption?
I have packaged it for Debian
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/xfce-polkit
but concern has been raised that its not an official package [upstream].


I did a mini survey of what other distros are doing, and came with

Arch        polkit-gnome
Fedora      xfce-polkit
Mageia      mate-polkit
Mandriva    xfce-polkit
SuSE        polkit-gnome

Seems a mixed bag!
Adoption would provide more consistency for the users.
