Request permission for gitlab fork and merge request

Hi all,
I'm doing a backport of Xfce 4.16 to debian stretch. This distribution,
although for some it is considered "old", meets all the basic requirements
of the latest xfce4 release. (libgtk-3-0 = 3.22.11 and libglib2.0-0 =
2.50.3, etc). However, I found out that there are some more modern library
uses that I would like to officially fix.

So, please, I request the necessary permits. =)
