Might be unrelated to gitlab, at least one thing changed:

translation commits lack the percentage, this pattern does not match anymore.
I18n: \(Add new\|Update\) translation [a-zA-Z_@]\+ ([0-9]\+%)

Happens in a few repos, like thunar.git:
e1cfc192 I18n: Update translation it .
8c5e9584 I18n: Update translation it (99%).
