Failed to clone a git repository with HTTPS

Hi Emanuele,
I'm also experiencing a slow down when cloning from git.x.o, it takes
3~7mins to complete.
We're investigating this issue, meanwhile you can use
https://gitlab.xfce.org which will be the official home of Xfce's
repositories next week.
