Building Ristretto

Hi Andreas,
Even though the question was not addressed to me, I also tried to port
ristretto, see more details here:
https://wiki.xfce.org/releng/4.14/roadmap/ristretto

I think Igor agrees, yes we would love to see someone finishing ristretto's
port, the most tricky part left is the thumbnail bar scroll not working,
however a replacement for that custom widget would be more than welcome.
