I use Fedora, which has selinux preventing apps from doing unpredicted things. Recently I'm getting alerts about pool-tumblerd trying and being denied to map my ~/.cache/fontconfig directory. It basically happens every first time thumbnails are generated in a Thunar window in a session.
The alert says that if I think pool-tumblerd should be allowed map access on the fontconfig directory by default then I should open a bug for the policy to be changed. My intuition says it shouldn't be allowed access to that directory, but I also suspect that maybe it just isn't very intelligent and tries to map everything. So I'm also posting this in case it's something that could be fixed in tumbler.
