Dear Alexander,
Thanks very much! None of the online resources mentioned Bugzilla, which is why I posted straight to the mailing list. It's on Bugzilla now.
Michael

Hi Michael,
did someone already answer your mail ? (If so, please ignore my answer)
Usually it is always a good idea to open a bugzilla bug for new features and attach your patch there.
Like that your patch will not get off our mind / will not get lost that easy and the maintainer of Catfish can take a look whenever he/she has time to take care.
( Not sure if we currently have a maintainer for catfish .. Sean Davis maybe ? )
Additionally, via bugzilla you will get email notifications whenever the status of your bug changes.
Hope this will help you!
Cheers,
Alexander Schwinn

Dear all,
I like to use Catfish as a way to find and open files. It's easier
to search for "xyz.txt" than it is to actually remember where I put
xyz.txt. The downside is that Catfish stays open while I'm editing
xyz.txt, leading to me having several Catfish windows in the back-
ground that I then have to close manually. This patch adds a new
option to close immediately after opening a file.
It is also hosted on GitHub at Michaelkielstra/Catfish.
Thank you very much.
Kindest regards,
Michael Kielstra
