I've tested your patch for gtk header bars support and it work great!

I've implemented it on my xfwm4-titleless 
<https://github.com/cedl38/xfwm4-titleless> branch. This is a patch to 
hide the titlebar of maximized windows in order to display it in the 
panel (with the windowck-plugin 
<https://github.com/cedl38/xfce4-windowck-plugin>). This stuff is 
firstly based on Viktor Semykin work but hightly modified.
I submit a patch for xfwm4 master branch if someone of you want to test 
it. I've added also some additional extra features. There are backward 
compatible with current themes.
feedback are welcome!
