Easy filesharing?

Greetings. 

Recently a user new to Xfce installed and started using it, but was
dismayed at the lack of easy ways to share their files to other
machines on their network. 

There are of course a number of options here, but they were looking for
something like a 'share this folder' option in Thunar or the like.

Are there any plans to provide some more easy gui filesharing options,
possibly integrated in Thunar or the like?
