xfsettingsd and GTK2_RC_FILES

I wonder if this is the correct place to ask this.  Perhaps you could 
try the list xfce rather than xfce-dev: http://www.xfce.org/community ? 
  I'm not subscribed to the xfce list, so I don't know if you've already 
tried that.  As well, maybe you could try the forum(s), mailing list(s), 
or IRC channel(s) of your distro with this question.
