Questions on Xfce4.8 installation

Thanks Jannis. I cleared everything and installed again. It works just
great. I can see the Xfce running. But the theming is not looking
nice. I have compiled the xfce-gtk-engine and themes from the git repo
and installed. All my components are installed on /usr/local. But
somehow the theming is not getting applied. Thunar is not displaying
icons on the folders and files. Attaching the screenshot.

Any help to fix this would be great!
