I've done that for a couple of plugins already, but I have a bunch left to

I feel like I could do without libxfcegui4 on my system ^^ So my patches
will be waiting for you in the bug tracker so that they shall hopefully save
you some of the hassle once you are ready for porting to libxfce4ui.
