Setting up development machine for XFCE

Hello All,

I am trying to set up a development environment with the XFCE source
code so that I can try to help the project by contributing something.
I have cloned all the projects from the XFCE git repository but bit
confused about what order I should build it. Can anyone tell me what
order the build should happen? Is this information available in the
documentation?

Just to experiment, I started with "libxfce4util". INSTALL file said
running "./configure" followed by "make" and "make install" should
compile it.  But "./configure" exited with message "bash: ./configure:
No such file or directory". So I ran "./autogen.sh" to get the
configure. But that exited with the following error (full output is
attached).

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me to get this right?
