Notifications not working with libnotify-0.5.2-1

Unfortunatly Arch linux has only 0.1.0-2
(http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=xfce4-notifyd). For now, I have
downgraded libnotify and things started working. BTW, changelogs for
latest Xfce 4.8pre1 & pre2 are not saying anything about fix on
"xfce4-notifyd". Is it available on the git version?

Also, is it safe to run just xfce4-notifyd from the git version and
rest everything as version 4.6?
