I am doing what I can, but at the same time I also have a new born baby to  
take care of. As you can imagine, that puts some limits to the time I can

Indeed, libxfcegui4 still works on 4.8, but some plugins fail to compile  
because they are not set up properly. I've already fixed a couple, but I  
am far from done. If you have an issue with a non compiling plugin, please  
file a bug, don't just assume that I've run into it myself. I would  
eventually, but I have a lot of plugins to care for, so that could take a  
while.

I'll look into that list you provided, but nevertheless, bugs are welcome.
