Ok, thanks to a few of ideas from Benny I'm now quite sure to have
found the source of the bug. Thunar remembers the first visible file as
the file to scroll to when entering a folder that was viewed before. If
I turn that off, icons don't jump around anymore. So the bug is either
in the exo_icon_view_scroll_to_path() or in the way it is called.
Working on it.
