What you say, I think, is there is a difference between the declaration 
and the instance. The instance will always be an object of a kind, but 
the interface declaration will, of course, not :-)

I think we agree on that, but what confuses me are the relation between 
the external/internal plugin and the XfcePanelPlugin, but ... as You are 
changing this ... I think I will stick to the new code.

Is this the prober place for these kind of discussions ? It sometimes 
seems like you already have been discussing things outside this mail-list ?

Is this newer than a git clone/pull ? I am quite new to git.
