Great! We should however discuss the release process again. Several
people have mentioned that they'd like to see more independent releases
and shorter release cycles (like every 9 months). There also has
been a discussion of merging the goodies and xfce repositories into
one. You certainly don't want to test, tag and upload tarballs for all
these components, so in these cases the role of the release manager may
change. So don't sign up too early ;)

I think we should discuss this on the list the next few days because
I'd like to present at least the basic consensus at FOSDEM. But it
would also be great to discuss this at FOSDEM itself because almost
everyone seems to be coming - and there will certainly be people from
other projects who have more experience with time-based releases and
stuff like that.
