Hey guys,
even though we're still busy with Xfce 4.6 I'd like to start a
discussion about which version of GTK+ and GLib we want to use for Xfce
4.8. Personall, I'd love to have GTK+ 2.14 and GLib 2.16 at least. GLib
2.16 gives us GIO, which is a must IMHO. GTK+ 2.14 gives us
GdkAppLaunchContext which is a nice for opening files/URIs with their
default application.
There are more reasons to use the versions above, I guess, but these
two are currently the ones I'm interested in most.
Opinions?
Cheers,
Jannis
