There were a few more things I wanted to fix for 4.4.1, but they can
wait for 4.4.2 if you'd like to get .1 out soon.  libutil in 4.4 branch
has a memleak fix that hits both the desktop menu and desktop icon view
pretty hard on gtk 2.10 and above.
