There are quite a few xfdesktop bugs I'd like to see get fixed for
4.4.2, but it seems my time is quite limited lately.  Go ahead and do a
release if you want; I can wait until 4.4.3.

Could this be related to this guy too:

Would be nice to kill both bugs with that fix.
