Very true.  But sometimes things just can't be optimised any further,

And that may be but I have a tendency to think that if it's not a huge
priority for
current developers than it probably wasn't for past ones either. I also know
that
we usually develop code to get the job done and then make it efficient
later. I run
into this all the time. Trying to get funding approved to make code run
better is very
hard but getting it for creating inefficient but effective code is easy.

I'd love too, I no nothing about this code though but I'll put it on my
project list of things I'll be focusing
on.
