Goals for next Xfce releases

Scite, Mooedit (medit), Minimum Profit (mped), Geany, Gvim ... - GTK  
programming
editors (and more).
That's for tabs, syntax highlighting, etc.

But for spell checking, this could be interesting:

libgtkspell0 - a spell-checking addon for GTK's TextView widget
  GtkSpell provides MSWord/MacOSX-style highlighting of misspelled words in  
a
  GtkTextView widget.  Right-clicking a misspelled word pops up a menu of
  suggested replacements.

Seems exactly what is needed :)


PS: remember: scite, medit, mped, geany, gvim, ... ;)
