Yeah, right. I thought Benny had branched already. Anyhow, I've already
started committing fixes in trunk, so when we branch, better branch from
trunk rather from the 4.4.0 tag. Or else, I could backport the fixes.

Anyway, I don't have much time to create the branch now... So if
somebody else feels like doing it... otherwise, we'll have to wait a bit.
