Hi all,

For those who are using the synaptics driver and gsynaptics to configure
it, i've created a simple mcs plugin that launches gsynaptics. This adds
a GSynaptics icon into the Xfce Settings Manager.

Be aware that gsynaptics uses libgnomeui and libglade and therefore
depends on many Gnome libs; unfortunately i don't have time to port the
GUI a pure GTK+ (which shouldn't be too difficult). However since
gsynaptics-mcs-plugin is a simple wrapper that starts the
gsynaptics-init executable when initialized and gsynaptics when invoked
from the Xfce Settings, installing the plugin doesn't mean that the
Gnome libs will be loaded in memory when the plugin is loaded by the
Settings Manager.

You can find the 1.0.0 version here:
http://goodies.xfce.org/releases/gsynaptics-mcs-plugin/gsynaptics-mcs-plugin-1.0.0.tar.bz2

and the svn version is available from:

Happy new year
