Clock plugin crashes panel

Hi,
when adding the clock plugin to my panel, the panel crashes. gdb

This happens with latest SVN. I know you want to remove the clock
plugin sometime. I would be quite sadly about that because then I have
no clock at all in the panel since I can't use Orage anymore (mentioned
this some time before: since the new panel code orage clock isn't
usable in a vertical panel and nobody cares)
