Here, I meant XAA or EXA.

I just checked with gnome+metacity+xcompgr and the same problem shows (I
mean the color/transparency corruption, not the crash, I'm not using
Xorg 7.2, but I suspect it could be releated).
The problem could be related to XRender in 24bpp. That would explain why
it shows with Terminal (which use ARGB32).

Other things worth trying:
- - Disable compositing in xfwm4 wmtweaks
- - Disable Composite extension in xorg.conf
