[xfwm4] is it a bug or feature series

As I said yesterday, I am using Xfce RC1 that came with the graphical
installer.
I noticed a peculiar issue with the window decorations. It is especially
evident with compositor enabled and a decently low transparency when moving
windows.
So, when a window is maximised, it has been a long-time feature of Xfce
(which I don't really like, as it makes my days difficult while using
Opera's side-panel) that the window can be resized by dragging any of
the edges. What happens now is that these "draggers"
disappear in "maximised mode". They disappear in such a way that the window
is no longer resizable by dragging the edges and - most annoying - there is
an inconsistency between windows decorations of maximised windows and
un-maximised ones (that are positioned in a certain upper-corner of the
window). The buttons of the two windows (close, maximise, hide) are situated
in different places (maybe several mm appart).
If this doesn't sound so clear, tell me, and I'll try to elaborate what was
miss-explained.
