You should have mentioned that for building GTK 2.10 is required. The
configure script should also check for GTK 2.10 and not 2.6. Or remove
the following function calls to be compatible with GTK 2.6:
g_object_ref_sink
g_access
g_hash_table_unref
g_hash_table_remove_all
g_hash_table_unref
