I tried implementing it a couple months ago, but ran into some problems
with how GtkMenu/GtkMenuItem handles submenus. I think it's possible to
do, but required some nasty hacks and I ended up leaving it alone for a
while. Since we've been in feature-freeze for some time, it's not going
to make it into 4.4.0. If I can figure out a non-risky, minimal way of
doing it for 4.4.1, I'd consider it, as I consider this an icky
usability bug. Someone should file a bug, though, so I don't forget ^_~.
