No, I do not use Gentoo, ;-), i use Ubuntu Dapper with the latest updates.
And this is what I have installed:

chaky at ubuntu:~$ dpkg -l intltool*

||/ Name           Version        Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================
ii  intltool       0.35.0-0ubuntu Utility scripts for internationalizing XML
ii  intltool-debia 0.34.1+2005082 Help i18n of RFC822 compliant config files

But I can try to downgrade intltool, and see that happens.
