Now this is weird... we have another laptop (xorg 6.8.2 with ati
drivers, no compositor, same distro FC4) which doesn't seem to suffer
from anything I reported. It's got the same xfce revision installed and
it's actually the machine I built the rpms on which I'm using on my
laptop that shows the problems.
