I like Orage because it offers the functionalities I need or could
need from a calendar.  It's really easy to use and its name is cool.
Can anyone remind me why Orage is using iCal now?

I see that gontact is using the Evolution client library which provides
much more than just a calendar.  It can be used for mails and an address
book furthermore.
