suspend/hibernation in xfce4-session

hey folks,
as i already mentioned in an earlier post i still got some problems
to stop the xsession shutdown after invoking the susp./hibernate-script.
i don't know exactly where to put the lines in the code in order to fix
this.
i would appreciate if anybody could give me a hint?

p.s.: is it possible to use the hibernate-suspend icons of
gnome-power-manager to beautify the logout-screen? if yes, is there a
desired image format that xfce_themed_icon_load() uses?
