Hi all,

You may already knpw; I'm not very happy with the current Xfce 4.4
default color scheme. It doesn't look very good IMHO.

As we more or less standardize on Tango, I'd prefer something along
those lines:

If you want to try by yourself, you can grab the GTK theme from here:

http://www.foo-projects.org/~olivier/themes/GTK2-Xfce-Tango.tar.bz2

And set xfdesktop colors to vertical gradient, starting #3E689E, ending
#3B5B89, with xfce-smoke.png as wallpaper.

What do you think? Maybe, before giving an opinion, try that setup for a
few days, like I did. It's very pleasing and usable.
